Having ridden Rats most of the time I have just purchased from eBay a 1987 GTR1000A1 (Item number: 140007730950 if you want a look) Are there any inherrant problems with these bikes/anything unsual/common faults that I should be on the lookout for? Any data/help/nagging would be greatfully recieved.Nice site though.CheersGoose.

Hi
I have GTR1000 workshop manual on CD-R. PDF format so you can print off a page (or chapter!!) at a time. Also comes with Kawasaki Parts microfiche wit part no.s for ALL years to 2004. Any body need one then let me know.

I need a pair of fork stantions. I am on my second pair of forks as the seals always seem to go. I have been told that there are no pattern parts available but would like to know if any one knows different, or if some good second hand ones are available.

I'm planning a roadtrip this summer from Ohio to Colorado. I'm a novice rider on an '88 Suzuki Katana. I plan to wear a jacket/gloves/helmet and have a tank bag and sport bags with me. I'm doing a practice trip of 350 miles to Rochester, NY before I do the long haul to Colorado. Any advice from experienced riders (roads to look for, conditions to be aware of, etc) is welcomed.
